Englishdom is aimed at adults aged 20–45 (Generation Z and Millennials): students, young professionals, career-minded individuals, freelancers and entrepreneurs;
As well as Generation X aged 45+ (around 10%) — people who are in the process of changing careers, re-evaluating their lives and pursuing personal development.

Englishdom is one of the most recognized Ukrainian EdTech brands and a pioneer of online English learning in Ukraine. The company has built a comprehensive learning ecosystem combining teachers, an interactive platform, mobile applications, and self-study tools.

Today, Englishdom is focused on refining its international expansion model after gaining valuable experience in the Polish and Romanian markets. While the company is not currently seeking investment, it is open to strategic partnerships, international collaboration, and knowledge exchange related to global growth.

History and mission of Englishdom

Englishdom was founded in 2010. Prior to this, the founder, Maxim Sundalov, had spent five years working as an English teacher at a school in Dnipro — initially teaching classes, then heading up the sales department. In 2010, he identified two key problems in the sector: offline schools are difficult to scale, and 8 out of 10 students give up learning the language due to a loss of motivation. This is how the idea for an online school was born. He started with no money at all: he built the website himself and began selling packages of 10 lessons — students completed assignments and sent their answers by email. He later switched to lessons via Skype. Within a year, the team had 20 remote teachers, and the school’s key feature became a personal mentor who helps students stay on track.

In 2021, an agreement was signed under which All Right, an international online English language school for children, acquired Englishdom, marking the start of a significant exchange of expertise.

Company's values:

Englishdom is founded on openness and honesty, accountability and proactivity, data-driven decision-making, speed and flexibility, partnership and care.

Customers reviews

“I was choosing between a few online schools and settled on Englishdom because of the app. ED Words is really handy — I learn words on the tube, in queues, anywhere. It’s also easy to plan lessons because the timetable is flexible. For someone like me with an unpredictable schedule, that’s absolutely crucial.“
